Some Background
I am a professional chartered civil engineer and artist.
I have always had a love of art including drawing, painting and photography but never once seriously considered it as a career.
I have spent 30+ years career as a civil engineer and this has provided me with great opportunity - be it standing atop the Forth, Auckland Harbour and Sydney Harbour bridges, or encountering huge kangaroos, road trains and cattle on Outback roads, I have been privileged enough to travel the world, see some great sights and incredible experiences.
However, art is really my first love and I have recently been encouraged to take it up again by my daughter and subsequently for a number of private commissions. It has made me realise that I have missed out for the number of years where I didn't paint.
Strategies & Plans
I am hoping to build momentum with my increasing portfolio of work until such time as I can concentrate fully on art.
Every commission is unique. That’s why I really like to take the time to fully appreciate and understand the needs and desires of those who procure my services.
I'm not an arty fluffy type and would really like to create something special for you.
