The white turf events take place in St. Moritz and make for a spectacular event.

I find the action compelling in this piece and am fascinated by the muscle tone of animals, including horses and this is behind the inspiration and passion to paint them.

It is not a commercial balance - I paint to create images that I love and my art has to be exactly as intended.

Knowing that I have packed intricate detail that many may likely never spot, but there is comfort in knowing that it is there and  contributes to the overall image. It will also keep those with a keen eye  occupied and pleasantly surprised for many years to come - be warned that you may need a magnifying glass, as I required one to paint it!
